Casa Luis
About This Spot
Casa Luis is the kind of place that immediately wraps you in a calm, familiar embrace the moment you step inside. Tucked quietly on Av. de las Playas in Tías, this restaurant carries the gentle ease of a local favorite—where time slows just enough for you to settle in and feel part of something quietly warm and unhurried.
The atmosphere is relaxed and understated, like a comfortable neighborhood spot where the rhythm is set by friendly conversations, the clink of glasses, and the soft hum of easy laughter. Natural light filters through, complementing the simple yet inviting setting, while glimpses of the island’s charm peek through, making it a little oasis from the bustle of daily life.
Here, the menu feels thoughtfully pared back, offering comforting familiar dishes that speak to both locals and travelers alike. The kitchen’s care shines through in each plate—from those perfectly garlicky prawns that hint at Mediterranean seaside afternoons to the tender pizzas that invite you to linger over the subtle balance of fresh toppings. A well-crafted coffee or a casual cocktail naturally follows, encouraging that unhurried moment of pause.
What truly makes Casa Luis stand apart is the genuine warmth of its service. The team moves with both grace and heartfelt attentiveness, weaving quiet attentiveness into every interaction. It’s a place where you don’t just come to eat, but to quietly reconnect—with the hospitality of its owner, the easy camaraderie among locals, and the simple joys of sharing a meal in a setting that feels like a well-kept secret.
For anyone wandering through Lanzarote’s lively shores, Casa Luis becomes not just a stop but a small, treasured chapter of their visit—a space that quietly invites you back again, and again, like a friendly smile waiting at the door.

Spent a week in Lanzarote and ate here 4 times, the staff were incredibly polite, really made you feel at home. The food itself was lovely, well prepared and the wait staff really knew their menu for recommendations. Definitely give this place a try, hidden gem.

Absolutely loved this little place. The views are amazing and the staff are lovely. Food was on a reduced menu however the food available was lovely. We visit the island frequently and this will be a stop we make when passing in the future.

We rented a villa 200 meters from Casa Luis. Very quickly became our local. Luis is a wonderful host and service is first class. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
